On 6 July 2023, the SCO Secretariat hosted a meeting between SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming and Ambassador of Switzerland to China Jürg Burri. The meeting was held at the request of the Swiss official.  

The Ambassador noted the SCO's progressive development, including the expansion of the SCO Family, and the growing interest of other countries in the Organisation.

The SCO Secretary-General thanked the guest for his attention and assessment of the SCO activities. He told the Ambassador about the SCO's aims and objectives, its principles and achievements, as well as the main results of the 23rd meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State.
