The 11th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum will be held in Yinchuan, Ningxia, from Oct 25 to 28.
The forum will feature four sub-forums: industrial green development, modern agriculture and technological innovation, sister city cooperation and cultural exchange, and regional cooperation discussions.
These sessions are designed to expand pragmatic cooperation between China and the five Central Asian countries in trade and investment, culture, science and technology, digital economy, and modern agriculture.
Key events during the forum include the release of the "11th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum (Yinchuan) Initiative", a photo exhibition of China-Central Asia cooperation achievements, and the planting of a China-Central Asia Youth Friendship Forest. The forum will also feature the inauguration of the China (Ningxia) - Central Asia Youth Friendship Camp and the unveiling ceremony of the Central Asia Specialty Goods Exhibition and Sales Center.
The event will host approximately 300 Chinese and international guests, including leaders from China and Central Asian countries, provincial and ministerial officials, diplomats stationed in China, experts and scholars, representatives from relevant international organizations, and delegates from business associations, universities, and enterprises.
Since its inception in 2012, the forum has served as a national-level platform for institutionalized exchanges and multilateral cooperation between China and Central Asian countries. It has enriched the content of China-Central Asia cooperation and has become a vital platform for promoting regional friendship and achieving mutual benefits.
Hosting the forum in Ningxia, a key node in the Belt and Road Initiative, is a strategic move to implement the outcomes of the first China-Central Asia Summit and the Astana Summit, noted a local official.
